This misfit place
with its strange little freaks
the isle of the weird
the home of the geeks
I’m often alone here
though, sometimes I’m not
a friend will come calling
never someone I’ve sought
an oddball, a loner
someone peculiar, like me
then I look around and realize
how we’re all crammed together
just so different, but the same
on an endless blue sea
